More Core Zone Pictures – End of September 2025
I made another trip out to the Core Zone at the end of September and thought I’d share a fresh batch of photos. The site has settled into a quieter rhythm compared to the busy summer months, but there are still signs of activity if you look closely.
One borehole team remains on site, steadily working away. Their rigs and equipment are a familiar sight now, and it’s interesting to see how the footprint of their work contrasts with the surrounding farmland. The rest of the land, meanwhile, is very much in the farmer’s hands again. Judging by the recent cultivation and neat lines across the fields, it looks like preparations are being made to sow a winter crop.
The shift in seasons is clear in the landscape too – the hedgerows are thickening up, the light has a softer edge, and there’s that unmistakable autumnal atmosphere creeping in. It makes for a different kind of photo set than earlier in the year, but just as telling in its own way.
I’ll keep checking in and posting updates as the Core Zone evolves. For now, enjoy this glimpse of late September on the ground.
