Flumpers Moved Short Distances Amid Archaeological Work at Lake Zone

Transporting Flumpers between the Core Zone and concrete slab highlights the need for a direct crossing over Manor Road.

Some Flumpers (a flock of dumpers 👀) are now being transported from the Core Zone over to the concrete slab on low loaders, only to be unloaded again a short distance away for work around the huge archaeological dig currently taking place in the Lake Zone.

Considering they’re being moved maybe a hundred metres at most, it doesn’t really feel like a sustainable long-term solution. That’s why the idea of a direct entrance or crossing between the concrete slab and the Core Zone over Manor Road makes even more sense now, especially with the amount of vehicle movement we’re starting to see across the site.
