I've been going through the latest Condition 13 Mass Grading documents, and something really caught my eye.
This huge, irregularly shaped feature appears right in the middle of the Core Zone. At the moment it's just flat farmland, but these engineering drawings show the ground being carefully sculpted into a large enclosed basin with sweeping curves, inlets and embankments.
Now, before anyone says it... no, the plans don't actually label it. So I'm not claiming it's a lagoon.
But if that isn't the outline of a future water feature... I'm a monkey's uncle!
What makes this so exciting is that these aren't concept images or artist impressions. These are the actual engineering drawings showing how the land will be shaped before construction continues.
So... could this be the first ever glimpse of a feature that guests will one day see inside Universal United Kingdom Resort? A lagoon? A themed lake? A spectacular water feature? Or is there another explanation?
I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. Have a look at the plans and let me know your theory. Is this just clever engineering, or are we starting to see the resort emerge from the ground for the very first time?
