Project Universal recorded a sequence of visible changes around Manor Road and the adjoining Core Zone during May 2026. This report combines three short observations into one dated account and separates what was seen from what remains an interpretation.

What was observed

On 3 May, part of the old wall around the concrete slab had been removed and fresh groundwork was visible nearby. From the available aerial view, the disturbed ground appeared to align with a flattened section on the opposite side of Manor Road.

By 7 May, activity in the same area had increased. The scale and alignment of the work suggested that an access or crossing point could be under preparation, although no published document reviewed for the original updates confirmed its final purpose.

On 14 May, dumpers working between the Core Zone and the area around the archaeological investigation in the Lake Zone were observed being moved on low loaders. The journeys appeared to cover only a short distance, illustrating the operational constraint created by the road and the separation between working areas.

What Project Universal can confirm

The confirmed evidence is the physical sequence visible in Project Universal’s own imagery: wall removal, new groundwork, increasing activity and short-distance plant movements. The suggestion that the works may form a direct construction access is an interpretation based on alignment and site activity, not a confirmed final use.

Why it matters

Access between work zones affects how efficiently plant, materials and people can move around a project of this scale. Consolidating the observations makes the sequence clearer than treating each small change as a separate news event.

What happens next

The next useful evidence would be a published access plan, a clearly formed crossing or entrance, or a change in vehicle-routing patterns. Until then, the final purpose of the Manor Road works should remain described as unconfirmed.
