DIGGERTRON OMEGA HAS FOUND THE FAMILY!
After spending quite some time sitting all on its own over on the concrete slab, Diggertron Omega has finally made the move across to the Core Zone… where it’s joined its cousins!
And Omega is currently the biggest digger on the Universal UK site.
It’s actually a Volvo EC750E, a seriously substantial crawler excavator weighing around 75 tonnes. Depending on its configuration, it can carry a bucket of up to around 5m³, dig more than 7 metres deep and reach out to around 11.5 metres.
So while Diggertron Omega might just be our slightly ridiculous nickname for it, the machine itself is an absolute beast!
After looking rather lonely over on the concrete slab, it’s great to see Omega now sitting amongst the growing collection of excavators, dozers, dumpers and other heavy machinery in the Core Zone.
