There was a busy day beside the Concrete Slab at the Universal United Kingdom Resort site as crews laid fresh tarmac on the Manor Road access.
Work is underway to bring this new access up to the same level as Manor Road. From what we can see, this new access could potentially become part of a new entrance and exit arrangement alongside the existing site entrance, although that's just our observation for now. Seeing the tarmac going down is another clear sign that this section of the works is advancing at a good pace.
A quick safety reminder for drivers approaching from the Woburn Road end of Manor Road: there are currently traffic marshals operating stop/go boards just around the blind bend near the site entrance. As you come over the level crossing, please don't put your foot down — you can't see what's waiting around the corner. Slow down, stay alert, and follow the marshals' instructions.
Every week seems to bring another visible change to the site, and it's fascinating to watch the infrastructure gradually take shape. As always, I'll keep sharing the latest developments as they happen.
