Stewartby is celebrating its 100th anniversary today, with activities planned for the whole community. A Facebook post encouraging local people and those nearby to head over says there’s plenty happening throughout the day and that the author is “really looking forward to soaking up the atmosphere.”
As an added bonus, Broadmead Road is open today to help with access to the event. The post notes the opening is only temporary, but after being closed for so long it adds that this will be welcome news for many.
The post includes a few photos showing the progress that’s been made on Broadmead Road over recent months, along with “one very important photo… a cracking full English breakfast from The Kiln, Stewartby to get the day started properly!” ()
